E-file an IRS business tax extension with TaxExtension.com

Idaho business income tax returns are due by the 15th day of the 4th month following the end of the tax year (April 15 for calendar year filers). If you cannot file by that date, you can get a state tax extension. An Idaho business extension will give a you 6 extra months to file your return, which moves the deadline to October 15 (for calendar year taxpayers).
Idaho tax extensions are automatic, which means you don’t have to submit a form or application to the State Tax Commission. However, you must pay your Idaho tax by the original deadline (April 15) in order to qualify for the automatic extension and avoid penalties. To fulfill the extension payment provision, you must meet one of the following requirements:
• Pay at least 80% of your current year state tax liability, or
• Pay 100% of your previous year’s state tax liability
If you owe state tax and you want to make an extension payment, use Idaho Form 41ES (Estimated Tax Payment / Extension of Time Payment, Idaho Business Income Tax). You can mail your payment with Form 41ES, or pay online using Idaho’s E-Pay system: tax.idaho.gov/e-pay
Note that you aren’t required to make an extension payment if your tax balance is $50 or less. However, interest will be assessed on any tax that isn’t paid by the original deadline.
